That's why we've made a Las Canteras snorkelling map with lots of useful info about the best places to swim and what you'll see. It based on our years of experience of snorkelling at Las Canteras beach.

As you'll see from the map below, the best place to snorkel is right in the middle of the beach just south of Playa Chica. The area is sheltered by the reef and is completely calm at low tide. It has a mix of rock, weed, and sand bottoms and attracts a huge variety fish and marine life.
