Tip Of The Day: Take Lizard Food To The Jardín Canario

The lizards by this red stone bridge in the Jardín Canario are used to being fed and it's a great place to get up close to the original Gran Canarians.

Look out for a sign with photos of lizards on the entrance side of the bridge. If it's sunny the lizards will be on the rocks below you.

They love tomato, apples and bananas and sometimes even crawl up onto the wall and take food out of your hands.

Feeding the lizards is better than taking bread for the fish and the ducks in the lakes as too much bread makes the water go all green.
