Centred around two 18-hole golf courses in a sunny valley just around the corner from Meloneras resort and Maspalomas beach, Salobre Golf Resort is a natural spot where peace and quiet is guaranteed. It's also home to the Sheraton Gran Canaria Salobre Golf Resort, one of Gran Canaria's smartest 5-star hotels.
Salobre Golf Resort is perfect for golfers but isn't a hard-core golfing resort. If you don't play, the fairways, palm groves and greens just add to the view from your villa terrace.
What's at Salobre Golf Resort
Apart from the villas, the golf courses and the Sheraton, there isn't a whole lot at El Salobre Resort. There is a supermarket and you can reserve the restaurants at the Sheraton hotel at the reception. You can also buy a day pass that gives you access to the Sheraton pools and spa.
Of course, it's the lack of buzz and crowds that makes Salobre Golf Resort so different from every other resort in Gran Canaria. This really is a tranquil, luxury enclave for people who like their holidays to be completely relaxing.
Salobre Golf Resort Villas

Around Salobre Golf Resort
Salobre Golf Resort is just 10 minutes drive from the coastal boulevard at Meloneras with its smart restaurants and bars, and the same distance from Maspalomas beach and dunes. For shopping, head to the El Tablero Mall just inland from Playa del Inglés; it's a small shopping centre but has a good selection of shops, bars and cafes on the roof and a large Hiperdino supermarket with plenty of fresh produce and wine.
Getting to Salobre Golf Resort from the airport
We'd recommend that you rent a car if you plan to stay at Salobre Golf Resort as it's tucked away in its own valley and is surrounded by countryside.
Getting there is easy; all taxis know the resort and it is well signposted from the GC-1 motorway between Maspalomas and Arguineguín: Just look out for Exit 53 on your right (inland). The only possible confusion is if you leave the motorway before Playa del Inglés and follow signs for El Salobre town.
